The Adventurous Me

The Adventurous Me
I will do it while I can do it and not wait for the time when I am no longer capable of doing it. Go go go

My World...Your World...Our World

I am not perfect, infact I have a very complicated life, I have my shares of many ups and downs. But despite all that, I always believe life is still beautiful. I have so many things to be thankful for. Because I still have so many blessings in life.

Among the many blessings are the physical strength that God give me, the grit and determined mind, my being ambitious and free spirited person, and most of all a grateful and thankful heart. I see things differently.

Trekking, rock climbing, running, ultra running, traveling, meeting people, exploring new horizons, immersion to new culture - the things I love to do. Mountain ranges and mountain peaks, rocks, lush forest, alpine desert, snow, clear sea, deep blue sky, white sea of clouds, full moon, new moon, birds, animals, flowers, wild plants, baobab tree and many more - those I love to see.

I am not physically strong, I just believe everything can be learned and loved. In all that I do in life, not all of it I love to do from the start. Most of it I just learn to love along the way. And on most things that I am doing now, I learn that I just have to give my best, I just have to want it badly and everything will just fall into place, no matter how impossible it will be on the start.

I always believe on the saying that you are never given a dream without the power to make it happen. The world will always be there to support what ever you want in life.

Keep Pushing

Keep Pushing
This blog is my personal notes on the different adventures I encountered outside my daily life. This only serve as my diary, a blueprint of what makes me happy and what excites me when I am not too busy in the four corners of my office. More than anything else, I write this so that someday I have a record of the crazy things that I have been doing while I am still at my best physical shape to do it.

From Edmond Hillarry's High Adventure

'Modern development in technology and equipment have produced major changes in the techniques of exploration. But despite all this, I firmly believe that in the end it is the man himself that counts. When the going gets tough and the things go wrong the same qualities are needed to win through as they were in the past - qualities of courage, resourcefulness, the ability to put up with the discomfort and hardship, and the enthusiasm to hold tight to an ideal and to see it through with doggedness and determination.

The explorers of the past were great men and we should honour them. But let us not forget that their spirit still lives on. Today, it is still not hard to find a man who will adventure for the sake of a dream or one who will search, for the pleasure of searching, and not for what he may find.'

'the extreme altitude, intense cold and expose to scything winds combine makes this place a most hostile environment for mortals. the chances of making an attempt on the summit and not living to tell the tale are about one in six.
